Louise C. (Crough) Kelland

Louise C. Kelland, 82, passed away December 28, 2012 at the Timberlane Lodge in New Smyrna Beach. Louise was born on November 9, 1930 in Upstate, New York to John and Eva Crough. She was a retired teacher / social worker in New York State. She relocated to Florida in the mid 70's from Seneca Falls, New York. She worked as a Supervisor of Foster Care and Juvenile Justice and retired from the Florida Department of HRS. Louise enjoyed the beach, fishing, luncheons, and traveling around the United States and Europe with her friends from P.O.R.T. (Port Orange Recreational Travel). She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James F. Kelland, who passed away in 1986, her step son James Kelland, her sister, Madeline Bolich and brothers, W. Clark Crough, John B. Crough, Jr., and Ned Crough. Those left to cherish her memory include her step-daughters: Linda Adams, and her children; Bruce, Jenny (Brad) Wiler and Andrea (Mike) Jordan; Debbie (Myron) Knuppenburg, and her children; James, Ryan, Chelsea; and her dear friend and care taker Gloria Preston and family; as well as nephews, William C. (Jean) Crough and family of Phelps, N.Y. John B. (Phyllis) Crough III and family of New Albany, Ohio; nieces: Susan Crough Olney of Minoa, N.Y and family and Julianne Crough of Minoa N.Y. and many close friends. A memorial service in her honor will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard Street, Seneca Falls, New York.
