Cayuga - Margaret S. Ward, 83, formerly of Laraway Rd., Cayuga, NY, died Monday (March 24, 2014) at Auburn Nursing Home, Auburn, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (March 27) from 5 - 7 PM followed by a funeral service at 7 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Phyllis Granger, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Geneva, NY, officiating. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, later this spring. If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Margaret was born in Auburn, NY on October 3, 1930 the daughter of the late Charles F. & Eva Bettes Stebbins. She had resided her lifetime in the Cayuga-Auburn area. She was retired from the Starlite Lanes of Auburn, NY where she had worked in the kitchen for years. She is survived by: 2 daughters - Jane Denman - Cayuga, NY Debra (David) Drawdy - Palatka, Florida 3 sons - Paul B. Ward Jr. - Cayuga, NY Charles Ward - Clyde, NY Richard Ward - New Berlin, NY 2 brothers - Ronald Stebbins - Indiana Eugene (Shirley) Stebbins - Florida 1 sister - Donna Stebbins - Auburn, NY 8 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren Several nieces & nephews In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Paul B.
