Mary A. Howe, 50, lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, July 17th, from 12NOON-2PM, with a funeral service to immediately follow at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. A Celebration of Life will follow at Clam Man’s Party House, 67 Auburn Rd., Seneca Falls.
Mary was born in Clifton Springs, daughter of Jerome and the late Loretta (Annetta) Howe. She grew up in Seneca Falls and graduated from Mynderse Academy, Class of 1993. She was united in marriage with her husband, Will, on May 8th, 2010. Mary worked for many years at the Seneca Falls Byrne Dairy location, even after the store closed, she continued working at the Border City and Castle St. locations in Geneva.
When in high school, Mary excelled at sports. She played varsity basketball and softball for Mynderse. Her love of sports continued into adulthood, as she was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills and NASCAR, with Dale Earnhardt Jr. her favorite. In addition, Mary was a huge Indiana Hoosiers basketball fan; a passion that stemmed from her father growing up in Indiana. Mary’s interests continued on into the kitchen, where she enjoyed cooking and crafting meals with Will.
Mary is survived by her husband of 15 years and partner of 25, Will Colvin; Will’s children, Matthew and Ashli Colvin; brothers, Jay and Steven (Kathy) Howe; beloved cats, Princess Leia and Raven; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family. Mary was predeceased by her mother, Loretta.
