Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Sunday (June 7) from 1 - 4 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday (June 8) at 10 AM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. Mary was born in Geneva, NY on November 6, 1921 the daughter of the late Frank & Nicoletta Liberi DeJohn. She had resided in Seneca Falls since 1942, coming from Geneva, NY. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls and was active in T.O.P.S. She loved to crochet, walk, cook, & babysit. She loved her flowers and loved cats. Over the years, Mary had made bibs for the annual Mynderse Academy football team spaghetti dinner. She is survived by: 1 daughter - Marie (Raymond) Pichany - Waterloo, NY 1 son - James (Janice Malphrus) Marrapese - Horseheads, NY 5 grandchildren - Lisa Gaglianese, Rene (Richard) Keenly, Brian (Kim) Pichany, Matthew (Shareen) Marrapese & Megan Marrapese 4 great grandchildren - Amanda Leigh Negron, Dominic & Kelley Pichany, & Henry Marrapese. 1 sister - Margaret Greco - Greece, NY Several nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, James Marrapese who died February 20, 1972, 4 brothers, Anthony, Albert, Peter, & Arthur DeJohn, & 2 sisters, Jane Campbell & Genevieve Calabrese.
