Michael J. Ricci, 79, of Waterloo, passed at Geneva General Hospital on Saturday, October 11th, 2025. All services will be held at the convenience of his family.

Michael was born in Seneca Falls, son of the late Louis and Marion (Ashley) Ricci, and graduated from Waterloo Central Schools, Class of 1964. Shortly after graduation, Mike worked for Seneca Falls Machine Co. for several years before taking employment at Fort Bragg in North Carolina in the maintenance department. After more than 15 years, and upon his retirement, Michael returned to Waterloo to be closer to family and to enjoy life in the Finger Lakes.

Michael was always a sports fanatic. Anytime you would find him at home, his TV would be turned to sports, especially baseball. He was a huge fan of the NY Yankees and when it came to football, he was a fan of the NY Giants. Outside of sports, Mike loved cars; whether it was driving, repairing, or learning about them, he couldn’t get enough.

Michael is survived by his brother, Robert Ricci of Waterloo; nephew, Lance Ricci of Canandaigua; cousin, Jacqueline Pinch of Pittsford; two granddaughters, Skyler Ricci of Tampa, FL, and Sage Ricci of Manchester, NH; close friends, Steve and John; and mother of his sons, Cindy Barnello of Liverpool. In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his two sons, Christopher and Patrick Ricci; and brother, Paul Ricci.
