Michelle L. Adams

Michelle L. Adams, 55, of Waterloo, unexpectedly passed at her home, on Saturday, June 7th, 2025. Calling hours are Friday, June 13th from 5 – 7 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Michelle was born in Canandaigua, daughter of the late James and Shirley (Amell) Adams. After high school, she joined the US Army and served proudly. Not one to sit idle, and good with her hands, Michelle always enjoyed working on cars, gardening, cooking, and was truly a jack-of-all trades around the house. Previously, Michelle had worked for Silgan Container for a number of years before an accident left her disabled. Most recently, she found great reward in volunteering and helping at Hosfords House of Flowers in Waterloo. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, viewing her flower gardens and sitting around the fire pit in the backyard.

No matter what was going on in Michelle’s life, she was always a very generous person towards others and was always eager to lend a helping hand. Her generosity extended to animals, and as an animal lover, she was always proud that all of her dogs over the years were rescue dogs.

Michelle is survived by sisters, Ann (Richard) Carter and Veronica (Michael O’Hora) Adams; brother, Thomas (Renee) Adams; partner, Cindy Jensen; special friends, Gabriela Dumas and Doris Bowman; several nieces and nephews; and last but not least, her special four legged friend, Suki. In addition to her parents, Michelle was predeceased by her brother, Wesley Cusson; sister, Tina Adams; nieces, Shannon Hotaling and Kendra E. Lilly.
