Seneca Falls - Mike A. Bonacci of Clinton St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Tuesday (November 13, 2012) at the Hospeace Home (Hospice) in Naples, NY on his 82nd birthday. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Thursday (November 15) from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (November 16) at 10 AM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to: Hospeace Home (Hospice), 7824 County Road 33, Naples, NY 14512 or to North Seneca Ambulance Corps, Route 96, Waterloo, NY 13165. The Seneca Falls Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the funeral home on Thursday evening (November 15) at 7 PM. Mike was born in Seneca Falls, NY on November 13, 1930 the son of the late Vincenzo & Cecelia Faiola Bonacci. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Goulds Pumps of Seneca Falls with 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, the Rumseyville Sportsmen's Club of Seneca Falls, the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion of Seneca Falls, & the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Seneca Falls. Mike enjoyed his yard work, gardening, and the horse track. He also was a great sports fan especially the New York Yankees, the New York Giants and Syracuse University Basketball. He is survived by: 2 daughters - Sonya (Richard) Smith - Seneca Falls, NY Susan Schaefer - Osprey, Florida 6 grandchildren - Amanda, Derek, Colleen, & Abigail Smith, Courtney & Ciara Schaefer 1 great grandson - Cashius Several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his wife, Joan C. Bonacci who died January 10, 2012, his son-in-law, Donald Schaefer, 6 sisters, Jenny Sinicropi, Rose Scaramuzzino, Dorothy Carbone, Anna Lovallo, DeeDee Burdett & Pip Vedora and 3 brothers, Anthony, August, & Patrick Bonacci.
