Seneca Falls - Pasquale "Pat" V. Johns, 92, formerly of Clinton Street, Seneca Falls, N.Y., passed away on July 9, 2017 at Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes, Seneca Falls, N.Y. Family and friends may attend Pat's Mass of Christian Burial on Monday (July 17) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 25 Center St. Waterloo, N.Y. 13165 or Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes, 1529 Route 414 (Mound Road), Seneca Falls, N.Y. 13148. Pat was born in Geneva, N.Y. on August 25, 1924, the son of the late Louis and Mary Carpenter Johns. On October 17, 1946, Pat married Rose DeRosa Pat was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was employed as a mason working construction on the NYS Thruway and then completed a 26-year career, retiring from ITT Gould's Pumps, Inc., Seneca Falls, N.Y. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. He was a former member of the Rumseyville Sportsmen's Club of Seneca Falls. Pat also was a former member of Winnek American Legion Post #396, Geneva, NY, the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 V.F.W., Seneca Falls, NY and Local Union 103, Geneva, NY. He enjoyed his many years of Gould's Pumps Friday night bowling league and after retirement his daily outings to OTB, and, of course a good game of BOCCE. He is survived by one daughter, Denise (Mario) Agnello, Seneca Falls, N.Y.; one son, Lewis (Glenda) Johns, Seneca Falls, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Casey) Johns, Marci (Tim) McGinn, Krista Johns, Marcus (Chelsey) Agnello and Marie Agnello; his great-grandchildren Nicolas Johns, Gabrielle and Mitchell McGinn, Rylee and Brock Calabrese; two brothers Anthony (Connie) DeJohn, Geneva, N.Y., Oneil (Cecilia) DeJohn, Geneva, N.Y.; one brother-in-law, Erman DeMatties, Jr., Florida; many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Pat was predeceased by his wife, Rose, sister and brother-in-law; Rose (Lee) Ward; sister, Barbara De Matties.
