Paul M. Cafolla

Oriental, NC. - Paul M. Cafolla, 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday morning (Jan. 4th, 2023), from natural causes. In keeping with Paul's wishes, all services will be private, held at the convenience of the family.

Paul was born on June 5th, 1959, in Waterloo, NY, the son of Anna Marie (Andreas) Cafolla, and the late Constantine F. Cafolla. Paul traveled Europe and the United States and lived in Alaska, Texas, Raleigh, NC, and later settled in Oriental, NC, a small fishing town by the ocean, which he loved.

Paul was a natural artist and applied his talent and skills to form a career in tile work and furniture making. His creativity shines through the work produced in homes across NC and NY.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Chelsey (Marcus) Agnello; grandsons, Jack and Brady; mother, Anna Marie (Andreas) Cafolla; sister, Lisa Cafolla; brothers, Daniel (Kathryn) Cafolla and Mark Cafolla; sister, BethAnn (Dale) VanDeViver; best friend and companion, Peggy VanOstran; and nieces and nephews and extended family. Paul also leaves the many friends he met along his journey, as well as his love for hosting and entertaining; all of which will never be forgotten.
