Seneca Falls - Pauline J. "Granny" Bojczuk, 90, of Farron Rd., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday evening (September 29, 2018) at her residence.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (October 4) from 11 AM to 1 PM followed by a funeral service at 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to: James P. Wilmont Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave. #704, Rochester, NY 14642.
Pauline was born in Palmyra, NY on August 3, 1928 the daughter of the late James & Florence Rickets Everrett. She had resided most of her life in Seneca Falls where she had, at one time, been employed at Eisenhower College. Granny, as she was known as by family and friends, enjoyed planting and caring for both her flower and vegetable gardens. She loved her family and over the years she had raised many of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by:
2 daughters - Mary Ann (Thomas) Lewis - Ovid, NY
Ann (Robert) Gill - Romulus, NY
3 sons - John (Deborah Updyke) Bojczuk - Seneca Falls, NY
Joseph (Lorraine Shumway) Bojczuk - Seneca Falls, NY
James (Jean) Bojczuk - Seneca Falls, NY
Many grandchildren & great grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Rocco Bojczuk who died November 20, 1973, 1 son, Rocco Bojczuk Jr., 1 daughter, Florence Osterhout, 1 sister, "Aunt Pete" Ostrowski, & several grandchildren.
