Penny L. Walker

Town of Tyre: Penny L. Walker, 68, of Tyre, passed away on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with her family by her side. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 from 11 AM - 1 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St. Seneca Falls.

Penny was born in Gasport, NY and grew up in the Medina area. On December 4th, 1982, she was united in marriage with Ed Walker. In 1989 Penny and Ed relocated to Seneca county from Niagara Falls and have called the area home ever since. Penny was a 33 year member of the Magee Fire Department Auxiliary, and had worked for many years through Seneca County ARC/Mozaic in Waterloo. Some of Penny's joys in life were: the special bond she shared with her pet cats, country music, fishing, but most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren.

Penny is survived by her husband of 39 years, Edward Walker; son, Edward Vinton; daughter, Katherine Claus; grandchildren, Clayton, Adian, Jade, Arianna; two sisters, and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Penny was predeceased by two brothers.
