Seneca Falls - Phyllis D. Wray, 89 of Stanton Meadows, Seneca Falls, NY, died Thursday (December 31, 2015) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Monday (January 4, 2016) from 12 Noon to 2 PM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 2 PM with Reverend Leah Ntuala, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Phyllis was born in Belmont, NY on July 6, 1926 the daughter of the late Everits & Gladys Brisbee Burdick. She had resided in the Seneca Falls-Waterloo area for most of her life and had been a member of First Presbyterian Church, Seneca Falls. She had been employed as a seamstress for Don Alleson's Clothing in Geneva, NY. Phyllis was known to have a green thumb since her gardens always blossomed with beautiful flowers. She is survived by: 3 daughters - Sharon Larson - Pennsylvania Linda (John) Ellis - Little River, S. C. Roberta (William) Mallaber - Longs, S.C. 1 son - Fredrick (Gale) Wray - South Carolina 10 grandchildren & several great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, William Wray, 2 sisters, Helen Kemp & Lena Chilson, & 1 brother, Carl Burdick.
