Renata A Turri

May 23, 1927 — December 9, 2020

Renata A. Turri passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2020. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, NY, Our Lady of Peace Parish, Geneva,NY, or the Geneva Historical Society.

Renata was born in Seneca Falls to the late Angelo and Gilda Turri. She was a very strong person of great faith, radiating confidence and grace; the epitome of class. She had a passion for world travel, especially Italy visiting many times with family and friends, started an Italian club and taught Italian. Renata was the ultimate social butterfly, loved opera, and always dressed to the "T".

She was the past President of the Geneva Historical Society, past President of the New York State Association of Medical Staff Services, and member of the Catherine Foster Hopkins Art Reading Club.She worked many years at Geneva General Hospital; first as the Director of Medical Records, and retiring as the Director of Medical Staff Services.

Renata's extraordinary faith and devotion to family resonated throughout her life was unparalleled.

Renata was predeceased by a brother, Albert Turri; sisters, Olide Giannotti and Mary Mellini. Survived by nieces and nephews; Dr. Angela M. Mellini, John D. Mellini, Ronald (Pat) Mellini, Richard (Bon) Mellini, Paul (Irene) Giannotti, Joseph (Carol Tudisco) Giannotti, Albert (Mary Lou) Turri, Robert (Linda) Turri, Pat (Gary) Casella; many great nieces and nephews, as well as her cousin, Maria Luisa (Adriano) Tolot of Italy who Renata visited often.
