Seneca Falls - Robert James Baker formerly of Auburn Road Apartments, Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Friday (January 20, 2017) at Geneva Living Center South, Geneva, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (January 26) from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Geneva, NY Robert was born in Seneca Falls, NY on May 25, 1932 the son of the late William & Belinda Ford Baker. He resided most of his life in Seneca Falls. He graduated from St. Patrick's School & Mynderse Academy, both of Seneca Falls, NY. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon his discharge from the Army, he worked at the Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, NY. He later worked at Evan's Chemetics in Waterloo as a maintenance guard. The 14th of 14 children, Robert is survived by: 2 brothers - Thomas Baker - Guilderland, NY Charles Baker - Phelps, NY Many nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased his siblings, William, John, George, Sister Helen Baker of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Mary, Julia, Theresa, Rita, Rose, Richard & his wife, Betty Hartranft Baker, Jane Knapp & her husband Robert J.
