Bob was born in Liberty, NY, the youngest of 4, to the late Albert and Vera (Huggler) Kinne. He grew up in Liberty, graduating from Liberty High School, Class of 1985 and received his education in auto mechanics from Sullivan County BOCES. Family and work brought Bob and his family to the Rochester area, with Bob relocating to Seneca Falls in 2007. He began his career with the Town of Canandaigua in their Highway Department and became a member of CWA Local 1170 union. Bob worked diligently for the town for 30 years as a motor equipment operator. He loved what he did and he enjoyed the crew he worked with. His training in auto mechanics and his skill with heavy equipment suited him well and allowed him to excel.
On November 6, 2010, Bob was united in marriage with Jovonna (Sinicropi) Kinne at Willard Memorial Chapel in Auburn. Robert’s personality brought so much love and light to the couple’s home. One who was very family orientated, Bob loved to bring people together to celebrate the good times. His family will especially remember him for his joyful attitude, his desire to see those around him smile, and above all, his love for food and bringing people together. An extension of food for Bob was wine. He made his own for many years to accompany the family gatherings and again to share with others. Bob was also known for his generosity; never afraid to help a friend or neighbor in need and often going above and beyond for others.
Robert is survived by his dearest wife, Jovonna; son, Taylor Kinne; daughter, Cearra Kinne; brothers, Albert (Marianne) Kinne and John Kinne; sister, Mary (Pete) Mayenzet; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that meant so much to him. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Cathy Kinne.
