Seneca Falls/Ovid - Rosalia F. Fischer, 89 formerly of Ovid, NY, passed away on Tuesday (December 13, 2016) at Auburn Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Auburn, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Monday (December 19) from 9 AM to 10 AM followed by a funeral service at 10 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Roy Kiggins of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Rosalia was born in River Falls, Wisconsin on June 24, 1927 the daughter of the late Edward & Anna Jana Fischer. She had been residing in Auburn, NY since 1992 moving there from Ovid, NY. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Seneca Falls. Rosalia's nieces and nephews will remember her as always being there for them. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her sister-in-law - Dora Fischer - Waterloo, NY In addition to her parents, Rosalia was predeceased by 2 brothers, Ewald & Adolph Fischer, 5 sisters, Anna Covert, Adeline Armitage, Marie Huson, Martha Grahling, & Ellen Werner.
