Rose Marie ""Mama Rose"" (McDonald) Travis

Seneca Falls - Rose Marie Travis, 72, of Garden St., Seneca Falls, NY passed away on Saturday (October 21, 2017) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (October 26) from 5 PM to 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (October 27) at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Hamlin, Pastor of Living Hope Assembly of God Church, Waterloo, NY, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to Living Hope Assembly of God Church, 10 Chapel St., Waterloo, NY 13165. Rose Marie was born in Newark, NY on June 11, 1945 the daughter of the late Walter & Flora Warner McDonald. She had resided in Seneca Falls since 1974, moving from Newark, NY. She was a member of Living Hope Assembly of God Church, Waterloo, NY. In addition, she was a member of V.F.W. Post #2670 Auxiliary, Geneva, NY and served as their treasurer, a member of the District #8 V.F. W. Auxiliary and served as their chaplain, a member of the Winnek Post #396 American Legion Auxiliary, a former member of the Waterloo Moose Club, and a Prayer Warrior of the Living Hope Assembly of God Church, Waterloo, NY. Rose Marie loved to pray with others & she loved reading, listening to music and singing. She was a big New York Yankee fan.
