Ted “P-Spot” Kelley Sr., 59, of Seneca Falls, passed unexpectedly, on Friday, September 25th, 2026. A Celebration of Ted’s life will be held at a future date and time to be announced.

Ted was born in Cornwall, NY, son of the late Thomas F. and Winifred (Colegrove) Kelley. He grew up downstate, primarily in the Highland Falls and Newburgh areas. In the early 1990’s, Ted moved to Seneca Falls and called the area home, ever since. When he first moved to Seneca Falls, he worked at the NY Chiropractic College in the food service department. He worked there for over 20 years. In addition, Ted also worked for the Seneca Falls CSD and helped out around the former Affordable Home Furnishings store on Fall St.

Ted was a man of great musical and entertainment talents. He played guitar, drums, and was a celebrated vocalist. Musically, there didn’t seem to be anything that Ted couldn’t do. He was a longtime ASCAP member and a prolific songwriter his entire life. In the mid 1980’s, Ted became the lead singer of the band Wasted Angel, a well-known glam metal band in the Tri-State area at the time. Though Wasted Angel was short-lived, they received many accolades and even opened for Skid Row. His fans will remember his bands throughout the years; Revelation, Legion, St. Chaos, M.T. Web, Groovy Seeds, and One Manz Junk. Ted was most known for his performances as P-Spot, taking fans and listeners on both musical and comedic journeys. P-Spot was a part of many different bands over the years, his most recent band is The Burned Out Suns, a Seneca Falls based rock band that has put out four albums with Steve Sarratori, Adam Fryer, and Bernie Talty. In addition to his musical talents, Ted was also a published writer; he has written and published four children’s books.

Away from the public performances and music shows, Ted was very much a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and caring for those closest to him. He loved his children dearly and held onto a strong faith in God. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and tending to his backyard garden.

Ted is survived by his wife Megan (Wadhams) Kelley, together for over 25 years and married for 16 years; children, Ted Jr. and his wife, Kristy of Romulus, Sara Kelley and her partner, Jesse Bottemiller of Merritt Island, FL, Michael T. and Mariella E. Kelley, both at home; grandchildren, Luca, Calum, Edwin, Charlotte, Jace, and another granddaughter on the way; sister, Jenean Fitzsimons of Titusville, FL; recently acquainted brother, Frank Giacoio and his wife, Lisa, of Yonkers, NY;brother-in-law, Danny DeMarco; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.
