Waterloo - Theresa D. Cator, 58 of Reed Road, Waterloo, NY, passed away on Thursday (January 19, 2017) at Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 30 Center St., Waterloo, NY on Wednesday (January 25,) from 2 to 4 PM followed by a funeral service at 4 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Diane Walker, Associate Pastor of North Rose United Methodist Church, North Rose, NY, and Reverend Sharon Battist, Retired, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Theresa was born in Lyons, NY on April 28, 1958 the daughter of Leon & Karen Perce Austin. She had been residing in Waterloo for most of her life. She had been employed by LeBrun Nissan of Waterloo and Auburn for over 30 years, retiring as Parts Manager. Theresa loved gardening and camping. She was especially proud of her antique horse-drawn carriage collection that her husband helped restore. She is survived by: Her husband, Oren Cator of Waterloo, NY whom she married on February 7, 1976 1 son - Daniel Cator - Waterloo, NY 2 granddaughters - Arianna Cator and Shanel Montalvo Her parents, Leon & Karen Perce Austin - Rose, NY 3 sisters - Robin (Andy) Derue - Williamson, NY Deb (Jeff) Derue - Williamson, NY Dale Marie Davis - Rose, NY 1 brother - Timothy Austin - South Butler, NY Several nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Nathan & Nina Austin, her paternal grandparents, Merton & Gladys Perce Her father-in-law, Harry Cator & her niece, Allison Derue The family would like to extend a special thank you to Christopher Wright MD, Bruce Yirinec MD and all of her health care providers at Clifton Springs Hospital.
