Seneca Falls - Thomas DeLabbio, 89, of Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday (April 6, 2017) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY surrounded by his family. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Monday (April 10) from 4 PM to 7 PM. Tom's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (April 11) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to Huntington Living Center, 369 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165 or to North Seneca Ambulance Corps, Route 96, Waterloo, NY 13165 Tom was born in Tollo, Italy on September 4, 1927 the son of the late Joseph & Maria DiPalma DeLabbio. He had resided most of his life in Seneca Falls and was retired from the former Sylvania Inc. of Seneca Falls. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls and a former member of the S.M.S of Seneca Falls and the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992. Tom produced a beautiful garden each year for his family and his friends, no one left Tom's home empty handed. He also,had a wonderful greenhouse that produced many beautiful plants. He was a self-taught Jack-of-all-Trades. Tom loved the art of wine making and so did those who drank of his product. He was a people person and a kind and generous man. He is survived by: 3 daughters - Mary (Thomas) David - Cazenovia, NY Josephine "Josie" (Dana) Allen - Geneva, NY Linda (Thomas) Craig - Seneca Falls, NY 1 son - Thomas J. (Cheri) DeLabbio - Palms Coast, FL. 2 grandchildren - Dr. Kristy (Scott) Allen-Harvell & Eric Allen Several nieces & nephews In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his wife, Mary C. DeLabbio who died May 16, 2009, 2 sisters, Yolanda Caruana & Lucia Lombardo The family would like to thank the staff at Huntington Living center for the care and kindness shown to Tom and his family.
