Victoria L. (Fulkrod) Hess

Victoria L. Hess, 53, passed at Geneva General Hospital, after a brief illness, on Friday, October 10th, 2025, surrounded by the love and support of her family. In keeping with her wishes, there are no public services at this time. Donations in her memory may be directed to Beverly Animal Shelter at beverlyanimalshelter.com.

Vicky was born in Geneva, the daughter of the late Victor “Tiny” and Sandra (Barbieri) Fulkrod. She graduated from Mynderse Academy and went on to further her education at SUNY Brockport, where she received a bachelor's degree. Over the years, Vicky had worked off and on as a waitress, which is where she met her husband, Bradley Hess. The couple were united in marriage on September 1st, 2001, on the shores of Van Cleef Lake. In the Spring of 2004, Vicky began her career with the Cayuga Nation. This year was her 21st year with them.

Vicky was a woman who was able to get things done. Both personally and professionally, her strong will and determination allowed her to get just about any task completed. She had a big heart for animals and was a true social butterfly. She was a big foodie and loved to cook. Her family will never forget her special spaghetti dishes she would come up with. She also enjoyed gaming on her phone and loved to read, especially fan fiction books and romance novels.

Vicky is survived by her husband of 24 years, Bradley; son, Connor Hess; daughter, Keathea Hess; sister, Andrea Fulkrod; aunts, Sharon Estes and Frances Miracle; as well as her favorite cat, Queenie. In addition to her parents, Vicky is predeceased by her many special cats that have gone before her over the years.
