Vincent Rocco Bonacci

Vincent Rocco Bonacci passed away on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Calling Hours will be Thursday, April 8th, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard Street, Seneca Falls. A Funeral Service will take place Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Born in Auburn, NY, the son of the late, Anthony and Philomena (Campese) Bonacci. Vince attended Mynderse Academy School in Seneca Falls, and also met the love of his life, Bertha (Morgan) Bonacci. After high school Vince served proudly in the US Army during Vietnam. Upon his completion in the Army, he married Bert, and the two shared in 52 years of marriage. Vince was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed bowling and watching the NY Yankees. He also enjoyed gambling at both Turning Stone Casino and Del Lago Casino. Vince was very much a family man.

Survived by his beloved wife, Bert; daughter, Mary (Robert) Grabbatin; brother-in-law, Franklin Scherra; a very special sister-in-law, Kathy Lux; grandson and pride and joy, David; several nieces and nephews, including Kristy, Robert, Stef, and Anthony, who were always there to help with Vince’s care. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Ursula Bonacci, Chi Chi Bachman, and Patricia Scherra.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Patti Gregg for her excellent care of Vince over the years, as well as the dear friends who would stop by to see Vince at home.
