Seneca Falls - William E. Dutcher, 87, of W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Friday (January 24, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. A Memorial Service for Bill will be held on Saturday (February 1) at 2 PM at Seneca Bible Baptist Church, 1859 Auburn Rd., Seneca Falls, NY with Pastor Terry Fenton, Pastor, officiating. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Seneca Bible Baptist Church, 1859 Auburn Rd., Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY. Bill was born in Norwich, NY on August 26, 1926 the son of the late William & Faye Sprague Dutcher. He had resided in Seneca Falls since 1988 moving from Port Byron, NY. He was retired from the S.P.C.A. of Auburn, NY and had been employed by the Seneca County A.R.C. He was a member of Seneca Bible Baptist Church, Seneca Falls. He was a ham radio operator and a life member of the Morning Ham Radio Club. Bill enjoyed riding his bicycle in various cancer awareness rides. He is survived by: His wife, Mary Harris Dutcher of Seneca Falls whom he married on October 4, 1980 2 daughters - Lillian Parris - Toms River, NJ Lisa (Steve) Crawford - Clyde, NY In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother, George Dutcher who died November 9, 2008.
