William F. Swanick

William F. (Bill) Swanick, 80, of Waterloo, NY died Friday, October 21, 2022, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Family and friends may call at Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard Street, Seneca Falls, NY on Saturday, November 5th, from 10am to 12pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Bill was born in Syracuse, NY, on December 21, 1941, the son of the late William and Margaret (Leitz) Swanick. He was a graduate of North Syracuse High School in North Syracuse, received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Morehead State University in Kentucky, and earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University. He retired from Em-Com Incorporated in Auburn, NY in 2001. Bill was member of Seneca Falls Country Club for 36 years and spent 17 winters of his retirement golfing in the Villages in Lady Lake, FL.

Bill is survived by his son, William F. (Jocelyn) Swanick Jr. of Huntersville, NC and one grandson, Jacob. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Joan Swanick in 2007 and his daughter, Suzanne Swanick in 2021.
