Annie C. (Lamuraglia) Bonacci

Annie Bonacci, 86, lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, passed away on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 at Rochester General Hospital. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday, February 7th from 4- 6 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday February 8th at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Annie was born in Seneca Falls, the daughter of the late John and Nancy (Carnevale) Lamuraglia. She attended local schools and graduated from Mynderse Academy. Annie was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Seneca Falls and St. Anthony's Society in Geneva, and was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was a wonderful supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital, where she not only personally donated regularly, but held an annual event at her home where a Mass would be said for the hospital's children. The event was always well attended and brought in thousands of dollars over the years. From the mid 1980's until the mid 90's, Annie ran a daycare out of her home and was blessed with watching over many children during that time. She was also known for her delicious apple pies and her Italian wedding cookies. She was a longtime viewer of the soap opera, General Hospital; a program she always enjoyed watching.

Annie is survived by her daughter, Maria Bonacci; granddaughter, Medina (Zach) Larsen; great-grandsons, Hunter and Jackson Larsen; sister, Frances Riccione; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her husband, Patrick; and sisters, Carmella Donato, Mary Barnes, and Jeanette Strecker.
