Charles A. Andreas

SENECA FALLS, NY - Charles A. Andreas, 64, of West Bayard Street, Seneca Falls, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Geneva General Hospital with his family by his side.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 12-2PM, at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard Street, Seneca Falls; with a funeral service at 2PM with Reverend James Fennessy. A Christian burial will immediately follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Geneva Assembly of God, PO Box 965, Geneva, NY 14456.

Chuck was born in Seneca Falls, on March 23, 1958, the first child born to the late Patricia (Best) and Carl Andreas. Chuck was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, graduating from Mynderse Academy in 1977, where he participated on the cross country and track team and played trumpet in concert band, jazz band and marching band. Chuck had been employed by Goulds Pump and Geneva General Hospital before retiring. Chuck was a fan of Syracuse University sports but wishes to be remembered as a devoted Buffalo Bill's fan and a proud member of the Bill's Mafia. He enjoyed pre-game tailgates on his porch with neighbors and friends. Chuck had many interests and enjoyed working with his hands, building bird houses and model boats. He also enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, cooking, baking and decorating for the holidays. Chuck will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor and his sweet tooth!

Chuck is survived by his siblings Karen (John) Potondi, Columbus, OH; Barbara (Roger) Davids, Seneca Falls, NY; Joseph (Cheryl) Andreas, Seneca Falls, NY; Mary Jo (Sean Anglim) Andreas, Webster, NY; Donny (Ernesto Quilingan) Andreas, Seneca Falls, NY; Michele (Mark) Boone, Ellington, CT, several nieces, nephews, and best friend, Lloyd Morlang.

Charles is predeceased by his brother David (1957), his parents and paternal and maternal grandparents.

The family would like to thank the ICU comfort care staff at Geneva General Hospital, especially Pam, Abbie, Ebony, Andrea #1, Andrea #2 and Micah. We appreciate your selflessness and compassionate care. You are truly angels on this earth!
