Claire M. (Bellomo) Withers

Canandaigua/Seneca Falls - Claire M. (Bellomo) Withers, 78, formerly of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Calling hours are Sunday (March 21, 2021) from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard Street, Seneca Falls. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday (March 22, 2021) at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 97 West Bayard Street, Seneca Falls. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery.

Claire was born on September 6, 1942, the daughter of Peter and Assunta (Cavone) Bellomo. She lived most of her life in the Seneca Falls area. Claire was a hairdresser, and owned and operated Claire's Beauty Shoppe for 10 years. She relocated out of state for a few years then moved back to NYS. Soon after returning, she was employed at the former Holiday Inn in Waterloo. In the late 1990's into early 2000's she was the secretary for Toole and Toole Law Firm in Geneva, NY and Wolfe Law Firm in Waterloo, NY.

Claire was a friend to anyone in need, and everyone who knew her loved her. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, music, and dancing. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark TV Channel, going on boat rides, and spending time with her beloved dog and companion, Izzi.

She is survived by one daughter, Toni Marie Roberti of Rochester, NY; step-son, Jason Leone; sisters-in-law, Rosemary, Peggy, and Joyce Bellomo, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, Claire is predeceased by her husband, David Withers; son, Michael Roberti; grandchildren, Carl Michael and Marissa Nicole Roberti; and three brothers, Louie, Robert, and David Bellomo.

Her daughter and family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at FF Thompson Hospital, Sands Cancer Center, and Dr. Mendler and his staff at Strong Memorial, for taking such good care during Claire's recent hospital stay in January of this year.

Contributions may be made in Claire's name to a charity of one's choice.
