Kathleen Lopez (Morgan) Lux

Kathleen Lopez (Morgan) Lux, age 73, of Seneca Falls, NY passed away at home peacefully in the company of her family on Friday, March 4th, 2022, following a lengthy illness. There will be no prior calling hours and a private burial service will be at the convenience of the family.

Kathy was born on the 29th of September, 1948 in Lyons, New York to Harry L. and Mary (Lopez) Morgan. After moving to Seneca Falls in 1950, Kathy attended and graduated from St. Patrick's School, followed by high school at Mynderse Academy, where she graduated in 1966. After high school she attended and graduated from Beautician School. She cut hair for family and friends most of her life.

Kathy was always there for her family, especially her grandchildren, and they all formed deep bonds with their beloved grandma. In 2001, she began assisting her sister Bertha with the care of Bert's husband, Vincent Bonacci. She thoroughly enjoyed her many outings to both Turning Stone and del Lago Casinos with Bert and Vince.
Kathy also loved to crochet and was always making a blanket for family members or friends. When she finished one, she immediately started another for someone else. Many were also made for area nursing homes too.

She is survived by one daughter, Kristy (Christopher) Solis of Geneva, NY, and one son, Robert Morgan (Stefanie) Lux of Seneca Falls, NY; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle) Anderson, Tyler Decker, Vincent, Donata, Serafina, Regina and Christopher Lux; one step-granddaughter, Christy Solis Cruz; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Anderson; one sister, Bertha Bonacci; her beloved niece, Mary (Bonacci) (Robert Jr.) Grabbatin; grand-nephew, David (Courtney Formosa) Grabbatin, and several cousins.

She is predeceased by her parents and her very special brother-in-law, Vincent Rocco Bonacci, who died on the 6th of April, 2021.
