Kathleen J. (Coughlin) Troutman

Waterloo: Kathleen J. Troutman, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, age 70, of Waterloo, passed away after a brief illness, on Wednesday February 2nd, 2022, at Geneva General Hospital. Calling Hours will be on Wednesday, February 9th from 4 - 6 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 10th at 12 PM at St. Mary's Church, 35 Center St., Waterloo. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation, PO Box 50798, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32240.

Kathy was born in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of the late John and Betty (Post) Coughlin. She attended St. Mary's, Waterloo High School and graduated with the Class of 1969. She was a lifelong resident of Waterloo and worked as a manager for many years at ITT Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls until her retirement. On September 18, 1971, she was united in marriage with Ken Troutman, and the two shared 29 wonderful years together until Ken's passing in 2000. After Ken's passing, she enjoyed being with her wonderful companion, her dog Bailey. Kathy was also a member of St. Mary's Church. Kathy was a huge sports fan and lived for football Sundays. She enjoyed her home, her family and friends, but especially loved spending time with her daughters and beloved grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

Kathy is survived by her two daughters, Traci (Jamie) Robidoux and Amy (Patrick) Logan; five grandchildren, Abigail, Samuel, Molly, Elle, Luke; five siblings, Thomas (Judy) Coughlin, Carole (Robert) Kingston, Patricia (Scott) Reed, Luann Coughlin, Christine (Gabriel) Cohn, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her brother, John Coughlin.
