Mary E. (Matthews) Mandigo

Mary (Laude) Mandigo, 67, of Stuarts Draft, VA and previously of Seneca Falls, passed away on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, after battling a long term illness. Family and friends will gather on Friday, May 12th from 5-7 PM for a visitation and a funeral service to immediately follow at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Mary was born on April 25th, 1956, in Seneca Falls, the daughter of the late John and Pauline Matthews. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, Class of 1974. She had lived most of her life in Seneca Falls, only relocating to VA within the last few years.

Mary loved to bake, and growing up, her children have many fond memories of the delicious treats she would make them. It brought her so much joy spending time in the kitchen teaching her grandchildren to cook and bake. Hiking and photography went hand in hand for her as she would be able to capture beautiful moments with her camera of the world around her while she was out hiking. Additionally, she was an active member of Lafayette Alliance Church of Lafayette, NY and Tabernacle Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro, VA.

Mary is survived by her husband, Brian Mandigo; sons, Christian and Brett Laude; daughter, Alyssa Perfetto; grandchildren, Annabel Laude and Vincent Perfetto; brothers, Dennis and Mark Matthews; sister, Carolyn Cotterill; former husband and father to her children, Bruce Laude; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
