Robert R. Kuykendall

Seneca Falls: Robert Kuykendall, 85, of Seneca Falls, passed away on Friday, July 30th , 2021 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 3PM at the SMS Lodge, 95 Ovid St., Seneca Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SMS Lodge or to a charity of ones choosing.

Robert was born in Auburn, NY, the son of the late Leo and Corinne (Clark) Kuykendall. He worked for the IBEW Local 1249 out of Syracuse as a linesman; a job from which he retired after many years. After retiring, Bob started tending bar at the SMS, where he thoroughly enjoyed serving and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching the Drum and Bugle Corps, the NY Yankees, the Cleveland Browns, and SU sports, perform. He liked collecting and adding to his model car collection, as well as his coin collection.

Survived by his five children, Dennis (Audrey) Kuykendall, Tracey (James) Ricci, Amy (Jeffrey) Ficarella, Rebecca (Anthony) Rapa, David (Charlene) Kuykendall; eleven grandchildren, Samantha (Matt) Judson, Mallory and Kelsey Kuykendall, Brittany Rogers, Sydney (TJ) Radka, Kelli (Peter) Hawryschuk, Joshua (Amanda) and Arin Loucks, Louis and Jordan Rapa, Vanessa Kuykendall; three great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob is predeceased by his sister, Diane Leggott.
